"KIN-BAH-SUH" Harrell
Hello and welcome! I hope you’ve enjoyed the work here so far. My name is Kenbasa but please, call me Ken. I’m a Senior Designer in Raleigh, NC with almost a decade of experience in the design industry working with large companies and small ones. I’ve worked as a freelancer where I’ve had the pleasure of assisting both scrappy, young entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals alike. I’ve also had the opportunity to work in-house at a few great companies where I’ve really gotten to get my hands dirty and learn on the job as well.
The job that really taught me the importance of what designers do was a sign shop near downtown Jacksonville, NC. I was able to meet the client, sit down and discuss their needs, pitch ideas, and then see the full process through to production and installation. I believe that experiences like that are what mold passionate and knowledgeable designers.
When I’m not designing…I’m probably STILL designing. Design is a part of so many things. Once you learn it, you see it everywhere! But when I'm not designing for WORK, I’m painting, drawing, illustrating or designing art toys while listening to Miles Davis or Legend of Zelda instrumentals and enjoying chats with my wife in my home studio.
